The rules for using MintLane. In force from 23 August 2026.
Version 2026-08-23
MintLane is operated by an individual sole trader based in Sweden. There is no company behind it. When these Terms say "MintLane", "I" or "me", that is who is meant.
If you are a user, a rights holder, or an authority and you need the operator's full identity, email support@mintlane.site and it will be provided.
That same address is the one for questions, complaints, abuse reports and legal notices, and it reaches the person who built the site.
MintLane is a marketplace where sellers list digital products and buyers pay for them in USDC on the Base network. It is a place for the two of you to find each other and for the payment to be checked. It is not a party to the sale.
The contract for any product is between the buyer and the seller. I am not the seller of anything listed by anyone else, I do not own or review the files before they are sold, and I make no promise about their quality, accuracy or fitness for anything.
MintLane is not a bank, an exchange, a broker, a custodian or a payment institution. It never holds your money. It does not offer financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on the site should be read as any of those.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MintLane. Payments here are final and cannot be reversed, which is not a thing a child should be able to trigger.
You must also be legally able to enter this agreement, and you must not be subject to sanctions or located in a country under comprehensive sanctions that would make this trade unlawful. You are responsible for knowing whether using MintLane is legal where you are.
Accepting these Terms is a condition of creating an account. If you do not accept them, do not create one.
One person, one account. Keep your password and your email secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell me straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Anyone can create an account and buy. Listing products for sale may require an invitation, and that is at my discretion.
Your wallet is yours. MintLane never has your private keys and can never move funds out of your wallet. Protecting your wallet and its recovery phrase is entirely on you, and nobody, including me, can recover them if they are lost.
When you buy, USDC goes directly from your wallet to the seller's payout address on Base. It does not pass through any account belonging to MintLane. There is no escrow, no balance and no holding period.
MintLane watches the chain and unlocks the file when a transfer arrives that matches the sale: the correct token, on the correct network, to the seller's payout address, from the wallet that opened the checkout, for at least the full price, counted once.
Because the money goes straight to the seller, no payment can be reversed. Not by me, not by the seller, not by anyone. There are no chargebacks in either direction. Before you send anything, check the amount and check that you are paying from the wallet you connected.
Some mistakes cannot be fixed. If you send the wrong amount, pay from a different wallet, or send on the wrong network, the funds may be delayed, held for the seller to review, or lost entirely. I will help as far as I can, which means reading the settlement log, telling you exactly what arrived and from where, and putting you and the other party in touch. I cannot move the money, because it was never mine to move.
You pay the network's transaction fee yourself. It is not charged by MintLane and is not refundable.
A purchase gives you a personal licence to use the file for yourself. Unless the seller says otherwise in writing, you may not resell it, redistribute it, or pass it on to anyone else.
Access to your purchases depends on MintLane continuing to operate. Download what you buy and keep your own copy.
Right of withdrawal, and giving it up. Under EU consumer law you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception, and by buying you expressly ask for delivery to begin at once and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the file is unlocked. If you are not willing to give that up, do not complete the purchase.
Refunds are between you and the seller. A seller may choose to send money back from their own wallet. I cannot make them, and I cannot do it for them.
Your legal rights against a seller for content that is illegal, fraudulent, or not what was described are unaffected by any of this. Report it and I will act on the listing.
Everything you list is your responsibility. By listing it you confirm that you own it or have the right to sell it, that selling it is lawful, and that your description is accurate.
You set your own payout address. Check it character by character. Money sent to an address you entered wrongly is gone, and nothing on this site can retrieve it.
You are responsible for your own taxes, and for any licences or registrations selling your products requires where you live. MintLane does not withhold tax, does not issue tax documents, and does not report on your behalf.
You keep ownership of your work. You give me permission to store it, and to show its title, description, images and price on the site so it can be sold. That permission exists only to run the marketplace and ends when you remove the listing, apart from copies buyers have already downloaded.
You must deliver what you advertised. Selling a file that is empty, broken, or materially different from the description is a breach of these Terms.
This list is not exhaustive, and I will act on anything that is obviously in its spirit even if it is not written below.
Every listing has a report button. Use it, or email support@mintlane.site if it is serious or urgent. Tell me which listing and what is wrong with it. If you are reporting copyright infringement, say what work is being infringed and confirm you have the right to complain about it.
Reports are reviewed by me personally. I read every one, and I would rather you sent one that turns out to be nothing than sat on something that was not.
Where a listing or an account breaks these Terms, I may:
Serious cases are acted on immediately and without warning. For everything else I will normally tell you what happened and why, and you can reply to that email if you think I got it wrong. I will read it and reconsider. I cannot promise a formal appeals process, because there is one of me.
A takedown does not reverse payments already made. Buyers who already paid keep access to what they bought unless the content itself is unlawful, in which case it is removed for everyone.
MintLane takes nothing out of a payment. It cannot: the money never passes through it. Any platform fee is charged separately and is shown before you list.
Founding Sellers, the first sellers invited to MintLane, have a permanent 0% platform fee. That is a promise, not an introductory rate, and it does not change if fees are introduced for anyone else later.
For other sellers, fees may be introduced or changed in future. If that happens, the rate will be published on the site and you will be told before it applies to you. No fee will ever be applied retroactively to a sale that has already happened.
Network transaction fees on Base are separate, are paid by whoever sends the transaction, and never come to me.
Only someone who actually paid for a product can review it, and only once per purchase. Reviews are your own honest opinion of the product.
Do not post reviews you were paid for, reviews of your own products, or reviews containing personal attacks, personal data or anything prohibited above. I may remove a review that breaks these Terms. I will not remove one merely for being negative, and no seller can pay to have that done.
MintLane is provided as it is. I do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or that it will keep running forever. It is built and maintained by one person.
I do not vet sellers or inspect files before they are sold. I do not promise that any product is accurate, useful, safe, or worth what was paid for it.
Blockchains, wallets and the Base network are outside my control. Congestion, outages, forks, bugs in software I did not write, and the value of USDC itself are all risks you accept by using MintLane.
Nothing here limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Beyond that, I am not liable for money you lose through transactions between you and another user, for mistakes you make sending funds, for wallets or keys you lose, for the content or conduct of other users, or for losses that were not a reasonably foreseeable result of something I did wrong.
Where liability can lawfully be capped, my total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount MintLane actually received from you in fees in the twelve months before the claim arose. As things stand, for most users, that is nothing. This is the honest consequence of a marketplace that takes no cut and holds no funds.
You are responsible for what you do here, and you agree to cover costs I reasonably incur because you broke these Terms or the law.
You can stop using MintLane whenever you like, and you can ask me to delete your account by emailing support@mintlane.site. Purchases other people made from you stay on their record, because they paid for those files and keep the right to download them.
I may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or close MintLane entirely with reasonable notice where I can give it. Sales already settled on-chain stay settled either way. They are not mine to undo.
These Terms may change as MintLane changes. The version and the date at the top of this page always tell you which wording is in force.
If a change materially affects what you agreed to, you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use the site. Minor corrections are made without asking. Continuing to use MintLane after a change means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes go to the Swedish courts.
If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your own local courts. You can also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform, though I would rather you emailed me first and gave me the chance to fix it.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Email support@mintlane.site. It reaches the person who built the site, and that is the same person who can fix whatever is wrong.
